Why did you start your beer blog?
We started our blog in January of 2010. I have been a nerd for the web since the pay by the hour days and have been designing and developing websites ever since.
In late 2009 my bother, my best friend, and myself decided there was no better way to express our love for sports and beer than to take to the internet and develop a lively community to discuss our two passions.
Our goal is to provide quality sports opinion, beer history, stories, humor, and reviews to teach and learn more about the hobbies that we love.
What do you cover in your blog?
We post insightful and sometimes controversial sports opinion about the teams we love and hate. We converse about our tales of beer tastings and over indulging. We try to teach and share the history of beer and find the humor in beer.
Finally we post beer reviews to share the wonders of the craft beer world that are now just beginning to be noticed by the masses that have been bombarded with domestic light beers for far too long.
Advice
- I would suggest that they start by writing what they love about beer. Stray away from the marketing ploys and pitches of the get rich quick schemes and MMO community. If you love what you write it will show and your blog will make you happy and grow*
