Carboy - The Definition of Carboy

Definition:

Large glass jars specifically designed to hold fermenting wort and aging beer. Carboys typically range in size from 3 to 6 gallons. They are superior to most types of plastic fermentation and aging vessels because they do not capture or transfer odors or flavors.
