Definition:

  1. noun Oven used to dry or roast grains. A variety of methods have been used throughout history to dry grains of their their natual moisture and the water used during the malting process. Most kilns now used dry, super heated air forced over the grains.
  2. verb To use a kiln.
Examples: Lars's family kilns their grains in the same kiln that his great-grandfather built over one hundred years ago.
