Guide Review - He'Brew Beer's Messiah Bold Tasting Notes and Review
He'Brew's entire marketing campaign seems based on puns. I like a good pun as much as the next guy and I have to admit that this label stuck with me from the first moment I saw it but there's just something that irritates me about a product that seems over punned.
But the beer inside the bottle is a pleasant one indeed. The tan head is of average density and retention. The beer is dark brown and opaque. The nose has caramel and hints of roasted grains. The flavor is full of roasted grain notes throughout with some sweetness at the end and plenty of balancing hops.
