Tasting Notes and Review of Tsingtao Pure Draft BeerGuide Rating - ![]() The Bottom LineI tasted this beer side by side with Tsingtao's Lager Beer so avoiding a comparison is impossible. I preferred the Lager. Pros

Description
Guide Review - Tasting Notes and Review of Tsingtao Pure Draft BeerPure draft poured a clear pale yellow. The thin head disappeared almost immediately. The nose is sweet with hints of fruit. While the flavor profile is almost identical to Tsingtao's Lager, it does seem to be just a tad bit hoppier. That's not to say that it's bitter, the profile still leans sweet; there just seems to be a bit more hops in the front and middle of the taste. Interestingly, the lingering impression is a generic malty sweetness as opposed to the nice, clean bitterness of Lager. This lasting sweetness gives the beer a overall cloying quality.
