Guide Review - Rogue Mocha Porter
The name of the beer sets you up for a big, rich beer and it delivers. The ale pours with a thick brown head that doesn't ever really die and leaves a really nice quilting all the way to the bottom of the glass. The nose is dominated by hops with a bit of malt. The flavor is full of chocolate and coffee notes as well as significant hops bitterness. Overall, this is a respectable American porter with lots of flavor.
