This was probably my favorite Redhook ale. It has a full, rich flavor and nice balancing hops, something to sink your teeth into.

The beer is very dark brown, almost black. The nose displays subtle malt and coffee. The flavor is full and malty with hints of coffee. The hops balance is just right. Overall, this is a very pleasant beer.It is also available with beer gas. This adds a creaminess and full mouthfeel.
