Guide Review - Beer Panel Tasting Notes and Review of Paulaner Oktoberfest

Paulaner was described as having a dark amber to orange color. The nose was subtly malty with hints of caramel and raisins. The flavor of this beer really seemed to split th panel. Some noted significant bitterness while others reported a light, even watery, sweetness. One taster noted a strong, oak quality. Overall, though, Paulaner came across as a weaker, less satisfying beer than Spaten's Oktoberfest.
