The Bottom Line
Blind Faith part of Magic Hat's year-long "IPA on Tour." They promise to release a new IPA every quarter for the rest of the years.
Pros
- Nicely balanced
Cons
- Less hoppy than a typical American IPA. Still enjoyable.
Description
Guide Review - Tasting Notes and Review of Magic Hat's Blind Faith IPA
This IPA pours with a nice, thick, long-lasting head. The body is hazy and copper colored. A nice, bright citrusy aroma is very forward in the nose but it's not overdone. It's one of those beers you just want to sit and smell for five minutes before taking the first sip. Once I finally get around to taking a drink I find a surprisingly malty taste. The hops are strong in the front but the flavor almost swings sweet in the middle. It finally works out to a very pleasant balance that lasts a long time after swallowing.
