Here’s something I didn’t know. Widmer Brothers Brewing Company has a program where they allow homebrewers to use their resources to bring their best brews to market. It’s called Collaborator. I couldn’t find anything on the Widmer website about it but here’s a brief piece from the AP that describes it.

My father is actually the one chosen for the next collaborator. The type of beer is an altbeer. It will be called Altimate, and it will be brewed next week.
By my understanding, the beer is distributed only in their brew houses.
