Benefit of Global Warming?

Friday August 4, 2006
Much of the brewing industry is based on shtick. For proof of this you need look no further than He’brew Beer. This kosher brewery can’t let any scrap of paper leave their marketing department without at least one pun on it.

Enter Salik Hard, the entrepreneur behind the Greenland Brewery. The water for their beer comes from the melting ice caps in Greenland. When you drink one of their beers you’re drinking water that has sat frozen for over two thousand years. Hard suggests that this makes his brew "smooth, soft but not bitter."

I don’t know about that but I’d still like to try the stuff because, hey, who doesn’t love a good gimmick?
