Inspiration from an Anhueser Busch ad?

Here is one of those stories that just makes you smile.

Rick Courcy, previously of Massachusetts, now calls Maine home and hops growing his profession. After seeing a TV commercial for AB Budweiser he decided that he would grow hops on his 90 acres.

He bought 550 rhizomes in six different varieties. Using a gardener’s home brew of onions, garlic and jalapeno peppers plus cotton balls soaked in coyote urine he’s keeping it organic.
