Put the Ice Cream Scoop Down and Step Away from the Stout!

I don’t know about you, but I’ve never been able to bring myself to risking a good bottle of beer on the oft recommended Stout Float. The converted seem to love this dessert concoction but when it comes down to it and I’m standing in front of a beautiful glass of good stout, ice cream scoop at the ready, I just can’t do it. I usually drink the stout and give the ice cream to my wife.

But here are some recipes that I gone all the way with and I didn’t regret it for one moment. The Flemish Beef and Beer stew is rich and meaty. The beer blends wonderfully with all of those sweet onions and the beef come out very tender. The pizza crust is worth trying as well. It comes out brown and thick and if you try it with my ultimate pizza toppings you’ll never want to order delivery again!

If you have any recipes that you’d like to share just email them to me. I’d love to give them a try and post them on the site. But keep your stout floats to yourself; it’s just not going to happen!
